Warmthly is a keep-in-touch reminder for anyone who keeps meaning to call their parents, a grandparent, or a friend who moved away, and then notices that 47 days have gone by. You add the people you want to stay close to, give each of them a rhythm such as weekly or monthly, and get a single reminder when someone is due. Tapping the reminder opens that person, and one more tap starts the call or the message and logs it for you. Everything lives on your phone: there is no server, no account, and no login.
The home screen is a list of people on cards. Someone you talked to recently sits on a warm peach card, and the longer a person waits the cooler the card fades toward blue-gray. A badge on each card says how many days over they are or how many days remain, so a glance tells you who needs a hello first.
Open a person and their details sit under the name: the rhythm you chose, the days until the next hello, and, if they live abroad, the city you set with the local time right now. If it is the middle of the night where they are, Warmthly asks before it dials.
Call and Message are the two big buttons on the person screen. Tap one and the app starts the call or the text, logs the contact automatically, and the countdown starts over. Tapped by mistake? Undo is one tap away. The Your moments list underneath keeps every call, message, and check-in with its date.
Most reminder apps treat calling your mother like any other task, with a due date you keep pushing back. Warmthly works from a different unit: a rhythm. When you add someone, you pick how often you want to be in touch with them. The presets are weekly, every two weeks, monthly, every season, and twice a year, and you can also type any number of days you like. Mom might be weekly, a college roommate monthly, and relatives in another country every season.
From then on the app counts days since your last contact against that rhythm. When a person crosses their interval, they become due. You get one reminder at the time of day you picked, not a stream of pings. Tap the reminder and it opens straight to that person, with the call button right there.
You can pull a person in from the phone's contact list so their number is ready for the call button, or you can simply type a name if you do not want to grant contact access at all. Contacts are used only to let you pick a person. Nothing about them is uploaded anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Each person gets a label such as Mom, Friend, or Grandma, a rhythm, and, if you want, a city. The city drives the time zone display, so friends abroad show their local time next to their name on the home list as well as on their own screen.
Not every contact goes through the app's call button. You might have met a friend for coffee, replied to them in a chat app, or spoken to your parents on someone else's phone. For those cases the person screen has an I reached out button that logs a contact right now, and a Log a past date link that lets you backdate it to yesterday or last week. The timer resets from whatever date you enter.
Every person keeps a timeline called Your moments. It lists each call, message, and manual check-in with the date, so you can see at a glance that you called Mom nine days ago and messaged Alex nineteen days ago. If you no longer want to track someone, Remove from list takes them off with their history.
Warmthly is built without a server. There is no account to create and no login screen. The people you add, your contact history, and your settings are stored only on this device, and reminders are scheduled by the phone itself rather than pushed from somewhere else. The app ships with no analytics library, and its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
This also means the app is free with no ads and no purchases required. You can add as many people as you like.
The app never grades you. There is no streak to keep alive, no percentage of relationships maintained, and no notification that scolds you for a missed week. The colors on the home screen are the only feedback: a card cools when someone has been waiting and warms again the moment you reach out. Whether you call weekly or once a season is your choice, and the app simply keeps count.
